The price of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹10 in early trading on Monday, with ten grams of the precious metal priced at ₹75,640. Silver also saw a decline, falling ₹100 per kilogram, with the price now at ₹89,400.
The price of 22-carat gold also decreased by ₹10, with ten grams available for ₹69,340.
Prices for 24-carat gold in Mumbai align with those in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, all at ₹75,640 per ten grams. In Delhi, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stands at ₹75,790.
Similarly, the price of 22-carat gold in Mumbai matches that of other major cities like Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad at ₹69,340. In Delhi, ten grams of 22-carat gold is priced at ₹69,490.
In Delhi, the price of one kilogram of silver is consistent with that in Mumbai and Kolkata, all priced at ₹89,400. In Chennai, the price of one kilogram of silver stands at ₹98,900.
Meanwhile, US gold prices saw a slight recovery on Monday after last week's sharp declines, though expectations of slow US interest rate cuts kept the recovery limited. Spot gold rose 0.4% to $2,571.11 per ounce, while spot silver increased by 0.6% to $30.39 per ounce. Platinum and palladium also gained, rising 0.6% to $944.57 and 1.7% to $966.66, respectively.
